The role of governors in SIAMS 2024
The session will guide governors to gain an understanding of their role in relation to SIAMS.
Key elements will include:
- The expectations of the 2023 SIAMS Framework.
- The centrality of how the theologically rooted Christian vision responds to the needs of the school community, leading school improvement.
- The role of governors in monitoring and evaluating the impact of the school’s Christian vision.
- Ideas to gather evidence of the Christian vision in action.
- An overview of the inspection process.
Schools are encouraged to send more than one governor to maximise discussion and impact.
