Intended Audience
Youth and Children’s workers in the Diocese of Guildford who have a primary school in their parish.  This may be a church school or a community school.

Delivery
This briefing will be a pre-recorded session.

This training will:

• Introduce both the 2023 Revised Surrey Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education and the 2023 Guildford Diocesan Guidelines for Religious Education
• Give Youth and Children’s workers an overview of how each syllabus has been created and how units of work fit together to create a pathway through RE in the primary school
• Highlight opportunities for Youth and Children’s workers to contribute to the primary RE curriculum
• Consider how to use school visits to the local church to support the RE curriculum requirements.
• Enable participants to consider the best ways to partner with the schools that they serve in the delivery of RE
